About the FCGA

The FTTH Council Global Alliance (FCGA), established February 2012, is the platform for cooperation of the six regional FTTH Councils. The FCGA offers these powerful, independent organisations unique opportunities to adapt their activities to local market and technology developments and share findings and best practices. 
Each council is promoting adoption of FTTH in its own region, while the FCGA facilitates global cooperation among these councils by exchanging studies, information, and market developments.

• The Digital Council Africa aims to enhance the quality of life for citizens across South Africa and the broader African continent by developing and deploying digital access.
• The Fiber Broadband Association (FBA) primarily focuses on connecting homes, businesses, and communities across North America with fiber broadband.
• The LATAM Chapter is the representation of the Fiber Broadband Association across the entire Latin American region.
• The FTTH Council Europe advances fiber connectivity across the whole of Europe. Studies focus on the EU39, which includes EU Member States, the UK, several CIS countries, and other European nations
• The Fiber Connect Council MENA focuses on accelerating the adoption of Fiber Connect in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
